Job summary

Viamericas Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the quality of web and Windows applications, designing and executing manual and automated tests across front‑end and back‑end systems. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in similar roles, strong SQL experience, AWS familiarity, and hands‑on test automation with Selenium, Serenity, Webdriver, and related tools.

A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IS, IT or related field.
5+ years of experience in QA/testing roles.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Attention to detail with analytical mindset.
FinTech exposure desired.

Responsibilities

Implement and develop manual and automated tests for web and Windows applications.
Design and develop test cases for front‑end interfaces, APIs, and back‑end systems across multiple languages (JavaScript, SQL).
Collaborate with Product Owners and Delivery Director to define automation strategy.
Identify, analyze and document problems with program function or output.
Plan test schedules aligned with project scope and delivery dates.
Participate in product design reviews and report bugs clearly for replication.
Write test cases for new products and features.
Review and analyze product requirements.
