GECO Asia Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Automation Quality Assurance Engineer in Filinvest City, Alabang, Muntinlupa. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions for web, mobile, and desktop applications to ensure software quality through robust test automation.

You will work on functional, integration, system, and regression tests, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior QA staff while upholding QA standards and SDLC guidelines.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/CE/IE or related field.
• 5+ years in Automation QA and 2+ years in Manual QA.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, C, or C#.
• Hands-on with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, BDD, KDT, or DDT.
• Experience API testing with Postman or SoapUI.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Waterfall.
• Experience creating Master Test Plans and QA leadership for projects.
• Knowledge of white-box and gray-box testing.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Automation Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for web, mobile, and desktop applications. The successful candidate will ensure software quality through effective test automation, functional and regression testing, and collaboration with development and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and other automation tools.

• Create, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks and strategies.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into comprehensive automated test cases.

• Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing.

• Review automated test scripts, test results, and reports to ensure quality and accuracy.

• Identify, document, and report software defects, and validate fixes and new functionalities.

• Prepare test plans, effort estimates, Test Summary Reports, and Acceptance Test Certificates.

• Collaborate with Manual QA, developers, business analysts, and project managers to improve testing processes.

• Ensure compliance with established QA standards, SDLC processes, and CMMI guidelines.

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior QA team members.

• Recommend improvements to automation frameworks, testing tools, and QA processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in Automation QA and 2 years in Manual QA or software testing.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, JavaScript, C, or C#.

• Hands‑on experience with automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver, BDD, KDT, or DDT.

• Working knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.

• Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC (Agile and Waterfall).

• Experience creating Master Test Plans and leading QA activities for small to medium‑sized projects.

• Knowledge of white‑box and gray‑box testing.

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Detail‑oriented, adaptable, and able to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB certification is an advantage.

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or financial systems is a plus.
