Job summary

Alpha Pro Partners Ltd is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to own automated testing for e-invoicing and tax platforms. You will build UI, API, and integration tests and ensure secure login flows before production.

Work with multiple ERP integrations and security testing to identify issues early. You will design test plans, write test cases, and report defects clearly while collaborating with product, compliance, and development teams.

Qualifications

5+ years of QA experience with hands-on test automation.
Experience with automation tools and frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).
Experience in e-invoicing, tax, accounting, or financial software is a plus.
Hands-on testing of SSO and authentication (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT).
CI/CD and issue-tracking tools such as JIRA.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, integration).
Test e-invoicing flows end to end including invoices, delivery, and status updates.
Validate invoices against e-invoicing rules and test edge cases
Test integrations with accounting software and ERPs (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
Test API behavior including authentication, webhooks, and retry scenarios
Test SSO flows across applications and assess security implications
Contribute test plans, cases, and bug reports; track defects to closure
Collaborate with developers, product, and compliance to catch issues early
Run regression and release testing including performance checks as needed
