Job summary

Arch Global Services (Philippines) Inc. in Cebu is seeking a QA Engineer to join on-site, full-time, night shift from 9 PM to 6 AM PHT. The role focuses on executing manual and automated testing, writing scripts, and developing automation scenarios.

You will collaborate with Agile teams, document test cases, and lead automation efforts using Java, Python, and other tools. Strong backend testing with SQL and ETL is required, along with experience building and maintaining test frameworks.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of OOP concepts (Inheritance, Abstraction, Encapsulation, Polymorphism).
• Backend testing with MS SQL and Snowflake is a must.
• Python experience is desired.
• ETL testing is required.
• ROBOT framework experience is a plus.
• Strong automation and manual testing framework experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Agile PM, DPM, and BSA to document and plan regression, integration, and automation test plans and cases.
• Write automation scripts (Java, JavaScript, Python, C#).
• Troubleshoot and optimize automation framework.
• Support functional validation and sprint activities.
• Communicate with development and product teams to ensure test coverage.
• Develop and execute automated test plans, report defects, and drive fixes.
• continuously improve automation framework and processes.
• Lead scrum test teams by example and mentor juniors.
