Job summary

Visa is seeking a Senior SDET to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for our products. You will lead testing architecture for large-scale cloud solutions and guide cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

You will mentor SDETs, drive QA strategy, and advance automation and AI-assisted testing. This role requires 3 days in office, with on-site work in Manila, collaborating with product and engineering teams to meet client and end-user needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 11+ years with no degree.
• Experience managing SDETs across one or more teams.
• Experience developing testing architecture for large-scale cloud solutions.
• Experience with Agile processes and product teams.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, CI/CD, and automation.
• Hands-on API and contract testing.
• Proficiency in Ruby, Scala, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Leading test engineering teams in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage SDETs across multiple cross-functional teams.
• Drive quality excellence and engineering best practices.
• Manage productivity, resource allocation, and work estimation for SDETs.
• Hire and develop QA talent and support career growth.

• Ensure compliance with standards and thorough testing documentation.
