Job summary

Career Connect in the Philippines seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Architect/Engineer to lead and mentor the QA team, develop robust QA processes, and collaborate with application development to ensure high-quality web applications.

You will design detailed test plans, implement automation to reduce manual testing, and generate clear test reports for stakeholders while upholding information security and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as Senior Quality Assurance Specialist.
• Extensive knowledge of web application testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Programming languages and databases knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive testing plans for web applications.
• Identify and document defects and coordinate with developers for resolution.
• Create and maintain detailed test cases with full coverage.
• Perform QA testing including functional, fuzz, smoke, UIUX, exploratory, and regression testing with automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand architecture and ensure timely testing tasks.
• Generate clear test reports for stakeholders on quality, defects, and resolutions.
• Automate and improve testing processes using new tools and technologies.
