Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years Python developer experience with FastAPI and API development.
• Strong experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, coding standards and secure development practices, and Bitbucket version control.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL and MongoDB, Kafka a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Build scalable, secure backend applications following industry best practices.
• Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Docker Compose.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solution architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders, throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Deploy and maintain applications in AWS environments using established CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices.
• Implement API versioning, authentication, authorization, error handling, and security controls.
• Optimize application performance and database queries.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
