Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field (non-negotiable)
• Very High level of Python development with 3–5 years experience (FastAPI, API development, OpenAPI/Swagger) (non-negotiable)
• Strong experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI (non-negotiable)
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles, API versioning, and exception/error handling (non-negotiable)
• Hands-on experience with Docker (non-negotiable)
• Docker Compose in multi-container environments (non-negotiable)
• Containerization concepts (Docker, EKS) (non-negotiable)
• Experience in enterprise software development environments including AWS (non-negotiable)
• CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline/CodeDeploy) and secure development practices (non-negotiable)
• Version control using Bitbucket and code review processes (non-negotiable)
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB (plus Kafka or real-time data streaming) (non-negotiable)
• Intermediate SQL background (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift) (non-negotiable)
• Basic to intermediate AI system concepts (LangChain, RAG, AI Security/Guardrails, observability) (non-negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Develop REST APIs using FastAPI and OpenAPI/Swagger
• Ensure robust REST API design, versioning, and error handling
• Implement containerization and orchestration (Docker, Docker Compose, Dockerized environments, AWS EKS)
• Work with AWS, CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline/CodeDeploy), and Bitbucket for code reviews
• Integrate relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka) and support near real-time data pipelines
• Apply secure development practices and API security (JWT, OAuth2)
• Collaborate in enterprise software development settings and Agile/Scrum processes
• Contribute to AI-related development concepts (LangChain, RAG, observability)
