Job summary

Monroe Executive Philippines is assisting a Philippine-based diversified company in its search for a Purchasing Manager who will lead the sourcing and procurement of raw materials, chemicals, supplies, and services. The role oversees supplier relationships, negotiates commercial terms, and drives cost efficiency across the business.

The position is onsite in BGC, Taguig, requiring coordination with multiple departments to ensure timely availability of materials and alignment with production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in Purchasing/Procurement, with supervisory exposure.
• Experience in manufacturing/chemical/industrial raw materials or related industries preferred.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and cost-optimization skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end purchasing and procurement from sourcing to purchase orders and delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, lead times, and delivery conditions.
• Monitor market trends, supplier pricing, and material availability to support procurement decisions.
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Production, and Finance to ensure material availability and inventory alignment.
• Evaluate supplier quotations and total cost to identify savings opportunities.
• Develop procurement policies, procedures, and controls.
• Lead and develop the purchasing team and prepare procurement updates for management.
