Job summary

Advanced Energy in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, Philippines, is seeking a Supervisor, Purchasing to lead procurement for New Product Introduction programs, drive localization initiatives, and ensure material readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (SCM, Eng, or Business).
• 7+ years of experience leading a small procurement team.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for NPI programs from concept development through mass production.
• Ensure material readiness to support EVT, DVT, PVT, pilot runs, and ramp-up activities.
• Proactively manage shortages, long lead-time items, and supply chain risks to prevent delays.
• Partner with Engineering, Program Management, Planning, Quality, and Commodity teams to meet milestones.
• Serve as liaison between suppliers, manufacturing sites, internal stakeholders, and customers regarding material requirements.
• Monitor NPI kit readiness and provide status updates and risk reports to management.
