Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Accountant 1 in the Philippines to support core accounting functions, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage property and project accounting to ensure timely, reliable operations.

The role requires 4+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and proficiency with Yardi and DealForce.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of four (4) years of accounting experience.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

Reconciles bank accounts daily and monthly for accuracy.
Records and codes credit card transactions in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi).
Prepares and reviews loan statements and intercompany transactions.
Monitors cash balances and maintains daily cash trackers.
Prepares journal entries from settlements and other activities.
Supports monthly financial reporting and tax packages.
Reviews GL coding and processes adjustments as needed.
Validates AR/AP aging; coordinates with Property Management for discrepancies.
Maintains accounting records in Yardi and DealForce.
Assists in project close-outs and financial accounting activities.
