Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking a Junior Property Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations across a diverse property portfolio using Yardi Elevate. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience with real estate accounting and month-end close.

You will process payables and receivables, perform reconciliations, prepare monthly reports, and collaborate with property managers and vendors. Onsite night shift expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Yardi.
• Foundational knowledge of GAAP and real estate financial reporting standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication with property managers, vendors and internal teams.
• Willingness to work onsite and on a fixed night shift.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time using Yardi Elevate
• Maintain accurate property financial records, ledgers, and tenant accounts
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and budget comparisons
• Collaborate with property managers and leasing teams to resolve discrepancies
• Assist with audit preparation and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Monitor lease payments, vendor invoices, and tenant billing
