Job summary

Globe Telecom is seeking a Design and Construction Project Manager to lead data center design and construction projects from initiation through delivery. You will manage scope, schedule, and multi-million-dollar budgets under the Head of Design and Construction to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will coordinate with design, construction, finance, and procurement teams, enforce compliance with applicable building codes and environmental standards, and proactively identify and mitigate risks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• PMP or similar project management certification preferred.

Job Description

The Design and Construction Project Manager is crucial for managing the full lifecycle of data center design and construction projects. This position exists to ensure projects are delivered effectively, meeting both quality and budgetary targets within predefi ned timelines. Operating within the strategic directives set by the Head of Design and Construction, this role is vital for maintaining the standards and growth objectives of the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategic Project Planning and Initiation Develop comprehensive project scopes, detailed resource plans, and strategic objectives for data center design and construction projects, ensuring alignment with organizational growth goals.

• Technical Project Execution and Monitoring Drive and oversee all project phases, providing technical oversight, maintaining stringent control over schedules and multi-million-dollar budgets, and ensuring effective deployment of resources.

• Cross-Functional Team Leadership Lead and motivate diverse, cross-functional teams, including design, construction, fi nance, and procurement, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

• Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance Implement and execute rigorous quality control and assurance programs, ensuring all design and construction activities comply with local/international building codes, environmental regulations, and internal quality benchmarks.

• Advanced Risk Management and Mitigation Proactively identify, analyze, and develop advanced mitigation strategies for complex technical, fi nancial, and operational risks throughout the project lifecycle to maintain project integrity and timelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.

• Project Manager: At least 5 years in project management, with a preference for backgrounds in data centers, technology, or telecommunications.

• Professional Qualifications & Training:

• PMP or other relevant project management certifi cation preferred
