Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.

• Technical Project Execution and Monitoring: oversee all phases, maintain schedules and multi‑million‑dollar budgets, ensure resources are deployed effectively.
• Cross‑Functional Team Leadership: lead design, construction, finance, and procurement teams to foster collaboration and high performance.
• Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: implement QA programs ensuring compliance with building codes and internal standards.
• Advanced Risk Management and Mitigation: identify and mitigate risks to maintain timelines and project integrity.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

PMP certification preferred

Job Description The Design and Construction Project Manager is crucial for managing the full lifecycle of data center design and construction projects. This position exists to ensure projects are delivered effectively, meeting both quality and budgetary targets within predefi ned timelines. Operating within the strategic directives set by the Head of Design and Construction, this role is vital for maintaining the standards and growth objectives of the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategic Project Planning and Initiation: Develop comprehensive project scopes, detailed resource plans, and strategic objectives for data center design and construction projects, ensuring alignment with organizational growth goals.
• Technical Project Execution and Monitoring: Drive and oversee all project phases, providing technical oversight, maintaining stringent control over schedules and multi-million-dollar budgets, and ensuring effective deployment of resources.
• Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead and motivate diverse, cross-functional teams, including design, construction, finance, and procurement, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: Implement and execute rigorous quality control and assurance programs, ensuring all design and construction activities comply with local/international building codes, environmental regulations, and internal quality benchmarks.
• Advanced Risk Management and Mitigation: Proactively identify, analyze, and develop advanced mitigation strategies for complex technical, financial, and operational risks throughout the project lifecycle to maintain project integrity and timelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Project Manager: At least 5 years in project management, with a preference for backgrounds in data centers, technology, or telecommunications.
• Professional Qualifications & Training: PMP or other relevant project management certification preferred
• Leadership and Team Management: Lead project teams effectively, promoting collaboration and high performance.
• Strategic Thinking: Develop and implement project plans that align with the organization's strategic goals.
• Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of data center design, construction, and operational best practices.
• Communication: Strong capabilities in both verbal and written forms to ensure clear information dissemination.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skills in managing relationships and expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to maintain project integrity and timelines.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve issues swiftly and effectively.
