Job summary

Globe Telecom is seeking a Design and Construction Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of data center design and construction projects. You will ensure delivery meets quality and budget targets within predefined timelines, operating under the Head of Design and Construction to uphold standards and growth objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in project management, with a preference for data center or telecom backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Project Manager: At least 5 years in project management, with a preference for backgrounds in data centers, technology, or telecommunications.
• PMP or other relevant project management certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Strategic Project Planning and Initiation: Develop comprehensive project scopes, detailed resource plans, and strategic objectives for data center design and construction projects, ensuring alignment with organizational growth goals.
• Technical Project Execution and Monitoring: Drive and oversee all project phases, providing technical oversight, maintaining stringent control over schedules and multi-million-dollar budgets, and ensuring effective deployment of resources.
• Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead and motivate diverse, cross-functional teams, including design, construction, finance, and procurement, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: Implement and execute rigorous quality control and assurance programs, ensuring all design and construction activities comply with local/international building codes, environmental regulations, and internal quality benchmarks.
• Advanced Risk Management and Mitigation: Proactively identify, analyze, and develop advanced mitigation strategies for complex technical, financial, and operational risks throughout the project lifecycle to maintain project integrity and timelines.
