Senior Project Controller
Location: Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City
Work Setup & Shift: Hybrid, Day shift
Compensation: 121,000-180,000 PHP / Month

Role & Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain project control systems, including cost tracking, schedule monitoring, procurement, progress reporting, and risk registers across all project workstreams.
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and annual reports to the Projects Director and Board, including cost performance, schedule variance, and financial forecasts.
- Lead the acquittal of government grants, ensuring expenditures are accurately attributed, documented, and reported in compliance with funding guidelines.
- Coordinate with the bookkeeper, project managers, and external contractors to prepare milestone claims, invoices, cost allocations, and financial statements.
- Manage procurement activities, including RFPs, tender processes, supplier evaluations, contract administration, and purchase order management.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow forecasting using Xero, ensuring all project costs are correctly coded and approved.
- Identify and elevate financial risks, budget variances, and compliance issues to the Projects Director.
Qualifications
- More than 5 years of experience in project controls, project accounting, or financial management, preferably within infrastructure, energy, or industrial project environments.
- Strong capability in project accounting, procurement governance, and grant compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in project controls tools, cost management systems, and financial reporting platforms, with demonstrated ability to build cost trackers and budget models.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate financial and project controls data to non‑financial stakeholders.
- Highly organized, methodical, and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams.
- Comfortable working in a lean startup environment with a high degree of autonomy, integrity, and discretion.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Direct experience with government grant acquittal, compliance reporting, or publicly funded project programs, particularly Australian federal or state programs.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience using Xero for balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow forecasting.
