MicroSourcing is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant & Analyst in Eastwood, Quezon City, Philippines, for a hybrid, full‑time role. Compensation ranges from PHP 50,000 to 80,000 per month, with market competitiveness and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a Financial Accounting & Analysis role within a multi‑business‑unit organization.
• Proficiency interpreting Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow statements and mapping them to general and subledgers.
• Experience in remote collaboration with business teams, providing actionable insights.
• Prior experience in manufacturing and/or distribution is highly desirable.
• Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Tooling Administration: Define and implement tooling processes and policies; administer tooling lifecycle and coordinate with R&D, Procurement, Branch, and Sales teams.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare performance reports on tooling, asset recovery status, and customer compliance; signal compliance risks to the Credit team.
• Tooling Administration & Compliance: Process tooling invoices and guard investments; track custody and documentation; PPSR filings.
• Financial Accounting: Post journals with Management Reporting; deliver monthly P&L and balance sheet reconciliations; safeguard account integrity.
• Management Reporting & Business Partnering: Analyze budget‑to‑actuals; report KPIs and manufacturing data; share insights with FPA using Power BI and Phocus.
• Leadership & Continuous Improvement: Deliver finance projects; drive financial close; understand business drivers; pursue data integrity.
• Systems & Automation: Collaborate on automation of tasks; design and implement automation with AI capabilities.

Professional Responsibilities

Tooling Administration (≈50% of capacity)

• Define and implement tooling processes and policies supporting procurement, credit risk management, and investment safeguarding.
• Administer and maintain the tooling lifecycle; collaborate with R&D, Procurement, Branch, and Sales teams to coordinate tooling activities and documentation flow.
• Ensure governance of business case evaluations, credit assessments, tool release approvals, and custody.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare performance reports on tooling, asset recovery status, and customer compliance.
• Maintain audit trails and signal compliance risks to the Credit team and stakeholders.
• Conduct investment analysis on tooling proposals and provide data insights for CFO decision‑making.

Tooling Administration & Compliance

• Process tooling invoices per transaction terms and guard investments by tracking custody and documentation.
• Manage credit risk evaluations and ensure timely PPSR registration filings.
• Create and maintain automated performance logs, customer reports, and reminder systems for overdue recoveries.

Financial Accounting (≈50% of capacity)

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Post journals with the Management Reporting team; deliver accurate monthly P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Own assigned financial areas, safeguarding statement account integrity.
• Investigate unusual postings, tracing transactions from GL journal to subledger for correct costing and coding.
• Support senior accountants in meeting regulatory obligations on time with minimal findings.

Management Reporting & Business Partnering

• Analyze budget‑to‑actuals and provide commentary for management and operations teams.
• Report on key business performance metrics, including KPIs and manufacturing operation data.
• Communicate to the Financial Planning & Analysis team on customer sales margin, product mix, and interpret reports in Power BI and budgeting tools such as Phocus.
• Assist in developing national policy and internal control frameworks to strengthen financial governance.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

• Deliver finance projects that support strategic corporate initiatives.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve outstanding items and accelerate financial close.
• Develop deep understanding of company business drivers.
• Proactively improve systems and data integrity.

Systems & Automation

• Collaborate with senior team members on automation of repetitive tasks, Excel modeling, and process improvement.
• Help design and implement automation initiatives leveraging AI capabilities.
