Job summary

MicroSourcing seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of strategic and operational projects within a Manila‑based team. You will define scope, milestones, resources, and risks, while embedding PMO practices and governance with senior leaders.

The role requires strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure timely, quality outcomes. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in PM, with 2+ in senior roles, and experience in BPO/shared services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in project management.
• Minimum 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven cross-functional project delivery in BPO or shared services.
• Deep understanding of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches.
• Advanced proficiency with project tools and stakeholder reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Ops Mgmt or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of operational, process improvement and strategic projects across units.
• Define scope, milestones and resources; manage RAID logs and risk registers.
• Embed structured PM methodologies and templates for Manila context.
• Facilitate governance meetings and steering committees with senior leadership.
• Act as escalation point for blockers; ensure rapid resolution and dependency mgmt.
• Drive UAT and sign‑offs; maintain quality and business standards.
• Maintain centralized portfolio view to assist GM Operations in prioritization.
• Mentor team members to build PM capability and accountability culture.

Your Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will:

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of operational, process improvement, and strategic projects across all business units.
• Define project scope, milestones, and resource requirements while managing detailed RAID logs and risk registers.
• Establish and embed structured project management methodologies and templates tailored to the Manila context.
• Facilitate project governance meetings and steering committees to keep senior leadership aligned on progress.
• Act as the primary escalation point for project blockers, ensuring rapid resolution and dependency management.
• Drive UAT and formal sign‑off processes to ensure all deliverables meet strict quality and business standards.
• Maintain a centralized portfolio view to assist the GM Operations in prioritization and resource allocation.
• Mentor team members to build project management capability and a culture of accountability across the site.

What You Need

Non‑negotiables

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven track record of managing complex, cross‑functional projects within a BPO or shared services environment.
• Deep understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
• Advanced proficiency in project tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent platforms.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience reporting directly to senior and onshore leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Operations Management, or a related field.

Preferred Skills / Expertise

• Professional Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Experience standing up a Project Management Office (PMO) or formal governance frameworks from scratch.
• Strong background in change management methodologies to ensure successful project adoption.
• Familiarity with the Australian and New Zealand business regulatory environments.
• Strategic mindset capable of connecting technical project outcomes to broader organizational goals.
