Job summary

ams OSRAM Group is seeking a Production Planner to drive short-, mid-, and long-term production plans for a global sensor and emitter technology portfolio. You will coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Logistics to ensure on-time delivery and optimal capacity utilization.

The role requires a Diploma in Industrial Engineering or equivalent planning experience in a customized manufacturing setting, with at least 5 years in semiconductor planning.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Industrial Engineering and/or experience in planning/scheduling in a customized/engineered-to-order manufacturing environment.
• Min 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing / Semiconductor Planning.
• Strong knowledge and experience with SAP system; excellent MS Office skills with strong analytical abilities.
• Good communication & negotiation skills, multi-tasking, and team player.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short-, mid-, and long-term production plans based on demand forecasts.
• Create detailed production schedules aligned with capacity, manpower, and machine availability.
• Analyze production capacity and identify bottlenecks; communicate risks and mitigation plans effectively.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, SCM, Logistics, and other support groups.
• Analyze product specifications to plan and ensure availability of materials and machines resources for on-time work orders.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, planning procedures, and industry standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert in planning and control systems; support team development and knowledge sharing.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
