Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in Laguna seeks a capable Production Supervisor to oversee movement of Production and NPI lots, manage direct labor, and calibrate start-of-shift production activities to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

You will monitor performance, implement quality initiatives, plan weekly and monthly schedules, and develop cross-training programs to support capacity. The role supports Factory 4.0 initiatives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably IE/Manufacturing/Electronics.
Minimum 5 years in manufacturing, semiconductor test/assembly preferred.
Experience supervising 30+ operators.
Proficient in capacity analysis and time study methodologies.

Responsibilities

Supervise movement of Production and NPI lots under the assigned product line.
Manage direct labor associated with Production and NPI lots.
Conduct start of the shift production calibration to cover critical announcements.
Monitor performance of personnel under his/her organization.
Identify, recommend and promote quality initiatives.
Perform time and motion studies with IE to align standards.
Maintain resource needs by coordinating with HR, PC and IE.
Plan and manage weekly and monthly production schedules and manpower.
Develop cross-training programs for operators to support capacity.
Monitor, assess and improve weekly KPIs.
Support Factory 4.0 program of the company.
Implement and support continous improvement programs on delivery, quality and cost reduction.
Adhere to company policies including guiding values.
