MedGrocer is seeking a Senior Product Engineer (UI-Focused) to design, build, and refine responsive web applications across patient portals, corporate wellness platforms, and clinical management systems.

You will own user-facing interfaces used by hundreds of thousands of patients, doctors, and corporate clients, crafting modern frontend architectures, robust design systems, and intuitive digital experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/related field.
• 4–8 years of professional software engineering with frontend/UI focus.
• Mastery of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and state management libraries.
• Strong design sense for typography, spacing, UI hierarchy, and responsive design.
• On-site work in Makati City.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, accessible, high-performance UIs using modern frontend tech (React, Next.js, TS).
• Translate wireframes/Figma into production-ready code with attention to UI layout and micro-interactions.
• Own end-to-end integration between frontend and backend REST APIs, managing client state and real-time data for AI features.
• Handle edge cases, loading states, and complex form validations with UX ownership.
• Optimize frontend assets and rendering for low latency across devices and networks.
• Maintain frontend component libraries and automated UI tests to prevent regressions.

The Senior Product Engineer (UI-Focused) is responsible for designing, building, and refining responsive web applications across our patient portals, corporate wellness platforms, and clinical management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using modern frontend technologies (React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn).
• Translate wireframes and Figma prototypes into clean, production-ready code with meticulous attention to UI layout, micro-interactions, and visual ergonomics.
• Own the end-to-end integration between frontend components and backend REST APIs, managing client state, caching, error states, and real-time streaming data for AI features.
• Take pragmatic UX ownership over edge cases, loading states, and complex form validations, even when specifications are lean.
• Optimize frontend assets and rendering performance to ensure low latency and cross-device compatibility across various network conditions.
• Maintain frontend component libraries and automated UI testing suites to prevent regressions and enforce consistent design patterns.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of professional software engineering experience with a deep, demonstrable portfolio in frontend and UI development.
• Mastery of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS), and state management libraries.
• Strong aesthetic sense and high design standards for typography, spacing, UI hierarchy, and responsive web design.
• Ability to work on-site in Makati City.
