Job summary

Flam seeks a senior product designer to shape the tools people use to create. If you've designed editors, builders, or authoring environments, you know the work is about long-term impact and friction-free creative workflows.

You'll own end-to-end design for a complex creation surface, balance rapid results with full control for diverse users, build and maintain a design system, and partner with engineering to push feasibility and bold decisions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in product design with creation/authoring tool experience.
• Fluency with genuinely hard interaction problems: hierarchies, multi-state objects, progressive disclosure.
• Prototyping ability - high-fidelity prototypes with real logic, or code.
• Strong reasoning. We care more about how you argue a decision than how the final frame looks.

• Design for a wide skill range: users who want a result in five minutes, and users who want full control
• Build and maintain the design system underneath it - components, states, edge cases

About the role

Flam builds AI-native tools for interactive brand content. We're hiring a senior product designer to work on the tools people use to make things. If you've designed editors, builders, or authoring environments, you know the difference: these are products where users spend hours, build real artefacts, and feel every friction point. That's the work.

• Own end-to-end design for a complex creation surface - from information architecture through interaction detail to shipped polish
• Design for a wide skill range: users who want a result in five minutes, and users who want full control
• Build and maintain the design system underneath it - components, states, edge cases
• Partner closely with engineering on what's feasible, and push on what should be

What we're looking for
