Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking a Manager, Procurement to lead end-to-end procurement, drive cost savings, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services across the organization. You will manage sourcing, vendor relations, negotiations, and P2P processes, aligning with Finance, Operations, Legal, and IT while upholding HIPAA and information security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related discipline required; MBA/PGDM in Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business needs, budgets, and organizational objectives
• Lead sourcing activities for goods and services, including supplier identification, RFQs/RFPs, bid evaluations, negotiations, and supplier selection
• Manage and maintain a competitive supplier base through market research, benchmarking, supplier consolidation, and alternate sourcing strategies
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; monitor performance against quality, delivery, service, pricing, and contractual requirements and address issues as needed
• Lead supplier negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, favorable terms, and total cost of ownership
• Drive cost savings and procurement optimization through strategic sourcing, volume negotiations, standardization, contract renegotiation, and process improvements
• Oversee procure-to-pay process, ensuring accurate and timely purchasing, order management, delivery, documentation, and coordination with Finance and business stakeholders
• Support supplier contract development, negotiation, execution, and renewal in partnership with business stakeholders; monitor key terms, obligations, and compliance
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approval requirements, controls, and ethical standards, and support audits
• Partner with Finance, Operations, IT, HR, Legal, and other functions to understand requirements, provide procurement guidance, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for cost and process optimization
• Support procurement budgeting and forecasting by monitoring spend, commitments, savings, and potential budget risks
• Prepare procurement reports and dashboards to monitor spend, savings, supplier performance, compliance, and other KPIs
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate procurement processes, improve turnaround times, standardize procedures, and enhance ERP/e-procurement usage
• Lead and develop the procurement team by setting priorities and performance expectations
• Other duties as assigned
