Job summary

Cummins Inc. in the Philippines seeks an experienced procurement professional to execute complex buying strategies that improve supplier performance and capacity ahead of demand.

You will analyze sourcing information, present recommendations to senior leadership, and act as the bridge between procurement, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure seamless product delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts complex analysis of sourcing information and presents findings to Procurement and Supply Chain leadership for process improvement.
• Supports linkage between procurement and manufacturing facilities and serves as communication conduit between manufacturing and suppliers.
• Prepares and presents recommendations of improvement opportunities and alternative courses of action to Senior Procurement/Sourcing leadership.
• Evaluates consistent application of sourcing procedures and processes.
• Supports management in vendor management, market analysis, process analysis, and model building.
• Leads analysis projects and mentors less experienced analysts.
• Develops relationships with vendors and suppliers favorable for company business.
• Manages capacity, delivery and issue resolution projects.
• Supports engineering releases and change management processes.
