Job summary

MicroSourcing in Quezon City is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to manage daily purchase requests, BOMs, and vendor negotiations. You will maintain supplier records, ensure timely buying, and coordinate with Finance for invoicing and payments.

The role also covers import/export compliance, renewal of telecom contracts, and driving procurement efficiency. Ideal candidates have 4–5 years in procurement, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and a track record with supplier evaluation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 4–5 years of procurement, purchasing or supply chain experience.
• Proven experience handling import/export procedures and government permits (BOC, NTC, OMB, GTSB).
• Experience in vendor evaluation, performance management, and price negotiation.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process daily purchase requests from different departments and sites in a timely manner.
• Manage procurement tickets and BOM requests accurately.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing and reliable service.
• Maintain vendor accreditation and performance records and nurture vendor relationships.
• Solicit and analyze quotations to prepare cost comparison summaries.
• Create and maintain purchase orders for CAPEX, office supplies and operations materials.
• Track receipt and delivery of goods and services and coordinate with Finance for invoices.
• Handle import/export requirements and government permits (NTC/BOC/OMB/GTSB).
• Oversee contract renewals for corporate telecom plans.
• Support process improvements and explore ways to enhance procurement efficiency.
• Execute other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Your Role

• Process daily purchase requests from different departments and sites in a timely manner.
• Manage procurement tickets and Bill of Materials (BOM) requests accurately.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure competitive pricing, product quality, and service reliability.
• Maintain updated vendor accreditation and performance records while managing strong ongoing vendor relationships.
• Solicit and analyze vendor quotations to prepare comprehensive cost comparison summaries.
• Create, monitor, and maintain purchase orders for CAPEX, office supplies, and other required operational materials.
• Track and confirm the timely receipt and delivery of purchased goods and services.
• Coordinate directly with requestors and Finance for accurate invoice processing and payment tracking.
• Process complex importation and exportation requirements, including securing government permits such as NTC, OMB, BOC, and GTSB.
• Handle all contract renewal and termination requests for corporate telecom plans.
• Support internal process improvement initiatives and explore innovative ways to enhance procurement efficiency.
• Execute other specific projects or related duties as discussed with your immediate supervisor to meet the prevailing needs of the organization.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of strong procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Proven background handling importation/exportation procedures and government regulatory permits (BOC, NTC, OMB, GTSB).
• Demonstrated experience in vendor evaluation, performance management, and price negotiation.
• Highly organized layout with exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Prior experience managing Bill of Materials (BOM) requests and capital expenditure (CAPEX) procurement.
• Familiarity with processing corporate telecommunications plans and contract lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in data tracking, spreadsheet building for cost comparisons, and utilizing digital procurement workflows.
