Job summary

RecruitFirst is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing and supplier activities in the Philippines. You will develop sourcing strategies, partner with internal stakeholders, and ensure procurement meets quality, cost, delivery, and compliance requirements.

You will plan and implement category strategies, manage the full procurement cycle, and negotiate favorable terms. The role emphasizes supplier performance, contract establishment, and process improvements

Qualifications

• Five+ years of procurement or sourcing experience.
• End-to-end procurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, analyse and implement category-sourcing strategies.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, analyse and implement category-sourcing strategies

• Manage the complete procurement cycle, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, selection and performance management

• Ensure procurement activities comply with the organisation’s policies and procedures

• Partner internal stakeholders to procure goods and services in a timely, effective and compliant manner

• Manage suppliers to meet quality, pricing and delivery expectations

• Conduct negotiations to achieve commercial value and favourable procurement outcomes

• Identify opportunities for product standardisation and more effective sourcing approaches

• Establish and monitor contracts to ensure the continuous supply of goods and services

• Gather internal stakeholders’ feedback, resolve procurement-related issues and drive continuous improvement

Key Requirements

• Able to commit to the full six-month contract

• At least five years of procurement experience is strongly preferred

• Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement, including sourcing, supplier selection and supplier performance management

• Strong stakeholder, vendor-management and negotiation skills

• Able to manage procurement timelines and competing priorities independently

• Knowledge of procurement policies, processes and compliance requirements

• Experience using Ariba or SAP inventory-management systems would be advantageous

• Analytical, meticulous and commercially minded

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
