Hexagon Shared Services Inc in the Philippines seeks a results-driven Industrial Engineer to lead productivity, utilization, and capacity initiatives across multiple units. You will design studies, build forecasting models, and identify bottlenecks to improve efficiency and headcount alignment.
Using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen, you will map current workflows, drive root-cause analysis, facilitate improvement workshops, and embed KPIs and SLAs.
Design and execute structured work sampling and time-and-motion studies to establish clear, objective baselines for employee utilization across units.
Construct and maintain dynamic capacity planning models to forecast and recommend optimal departmental headcount requirements based on shifting business volumes.
Map and diagnose operational imbalances, specifically identifying process bottlenecks causing employee burnout and pockets of hidden capacity from systemic under-utilization.
Partner with the Head of CQCI to deliver factual, numbers-backed personnel resource optimization recommendations directly to HR and MANCOM stakeholders.
Deploy Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques to map \"As-Is\" operational workflows and design highly efficient, waste-free \"To-Be\" states.
Lead cross-functional root-cause analysis (RCA) investigations using structured tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa diagrams) to eliminate chronic defects and transaction errors.
Facilitate hands-on process improvement workshops with front-line teams to compress cycle times and improve first-time-right execution scores.
Embed measurable metrics, internal service level agreements (SLAs), and operational KPIs into redesigned processes to easily track and sustain efficiency gains.
Translate optimized workflows into formal, controlled documentation, updating the Quality Manual, process maps, and mandatory audit records.
Protect corporate institutional knowledge during process overhauls by enforcing strict document change control and retention guidelines within localized team environments.
Maintain complete audit readiness across all engineered processes to support the division’s ISO 9001 maintenance and the successful rollout of the 2026 ISO/IEC 27001 certification roadmap.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations Management, or a related, highly quantitative discipline.
Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is required (Black Belt is an advantage).
Formal training or certification in Time and Motion Studies / Work Measurement is highly desirable.
Foundational certifications or coursework in ISO 9001 or ISO 27001 frameworks are a plus.
3 to 5+ years of dedicated experience in Industrial Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or Capacity Planning roles, with an explicit track record in productivity analytics and workload measurement.
Demonstrated history of building multi-variable capacity or headcount forecasting models that resulted in measurable operational savings or resource rebalancing.
Proven experience mapping, standardizing, and optimizing workflows in a technology, shared services, or complex operational corporate environment.
Direct experience participating in formal internal or external ISO compliance audits is an advantage.
