Job summary

Sumitomo Electric Group in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Process Engineer with 5+ years of experience in semiconductor/electronics manufacturing. The role focuses on process optimization, design documentation, and leading cross-functional teams on new product introductions.

You will drive root-cause analysis, implement improvements for efficiency, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across production areas.

Qualifications

• BS Chemical Engineering degree holder with practical industrial exposure.
• At least 5 years in Semiconductor/Electronics, preferably plating & wet processes.
• Strong knowledge of FPC/PCB manufacturing processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: analyze data, identify bottlenecks, implement improvements for efficiency and throughput.
• Design & Documentation: create Process Flow Diagrams, mass/energy balances, equipment specs, manuals.
• Project Leadership: lead cross-functional teams, manage execution, support new product introductions.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting: provide on-the-floor support, root-cause analysis, resolve issues.
• Safety & Compliance: lead HAZOP studies, ensure ESH standards, develop safety protocols.
• Mentorship: train and guide junior engineers and operators.
