Job summary

Sumitomo Electric USA in Laguna, Philippines seeks an engineer with CAD proficiency and hands-on experience in manufacturing support. The role covers PCB/FPC processes from prototype to mass production and design input for pattern, die, jig, and tray systems.

You will apply GD&T, mechanical drawing standards, and engineering data management practices, participate in change control, and perform basic analyses and documentation to support production.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in EE/ME/ECE/Chemical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing.
• At least 1 year of experience in engineering, manufacturing, CAD, SolidWorks or related technical work.
• Understands basic FPC and PCB manufacturing processes from Proto to MP.
• Understands basic Pattern, Die, Jig, and Tray design.
• Understands basic GD&T and mechanical drawing requirements.
• Understands basic engineering data management and change control.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D and basic CAD operations.
• Able to perform basic engineering analysis and documentation.
