Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Senior Specialist Simulator Instructor to deliver high-quality simulator training to cadets and plant personnel using the Ovation Embedded Simulator and Ovation Operator. You will design lessons, assess operators, and collaborate with the Technical Academy to build strong control room capabilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any Engineering course with strong power plant exposure.
• At least 3 years teaching engineering topics, preferably power plant design/operations.
• At least 2 years in a power plant control room and knowledge of Ovation simulator software.

Responsibilities

• Design & Lead Training: prepare lesson plans and conduct simulator training on Ovation systems, evaluate trainees.
• Assess Operators: perform assessments before confirmation in roles.
• Provide DCS Technical Support: collaborate to develop and test control logic and models.
• Drive the Cadetship Program: help develop and teach training plans with international programs.
