Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to drive innovation in its Electronics Hardware Design Engineering team in the Philippines. The role focuses on designing power architectures for Dyson Appliance products, including Power Conversion, Battery Management Systems and Motor Drives, with collaboration across UK and Southeast Asia teams.

You will specify, design, test, and validate power electronic circuits for consumer home appliances, participating in multi-disciplinary projects

Qualifications

Degree in electronics engineering or a comparable discipline.
More than 4 years of working experience in electronics design or similar environment.
Experience in Power Electronics: SMPS, motor drive, inverters, battery management.
Experience with simulation tools to support design calculations, tolerance analysis, and documentation.
Knowledge of EMC, safety requirements and regulatory certification.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver power architecture and topology solutions to project timelines.
Device selection and characterization for different power applications.
Create design docs, test methods and validation plans.
Verify design decisions through simulation, test and analysis of results.
Follow full product development lifecycle and ensure specs are met.
