Job summary

Netskope in Manila seeks a Senior Agent Runtime Engineer to own the health of the agent execution environment, ensuring session isolation, concurrency handling, and performance under real-world load. You’ll collaborate with the engineering team to diagnose issues that appear in production but not in testing.

You will tune cold-start and concurrency settings, enhance observability, and manage runtime resources via CI/CD pipelines, IAM roles, and monitoring tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a platform, SRE, or infra engineering role with production experience
• Hands-on AWS observability tooling (CloudWatch, X-Ray) to root-cause issues via traces/logs
• Experience deploying infrastructure via CI/CD and owning IaC changes end-to-end
• Understanding of compute isolation concepts (containers, microVMs) and edge cases
• Ability to investigate cost and performance issues at a granular level
• Strong incident response: calm, methodical, fixes over workarounds

Responsibilities

• Own health of the agent execution environment and ensure session isolation
• Identify and resolve production vs testing behavior discrepancies
• Tune cold-start and concurrency settings for platform critical paths
• Understand isolation guarantees and where platform controls are needed
• Build observability and signals for 'is this agent working' beyond basic uptime
• Track per-agent/session costs and optimize resource usage
• Manage runtime resources through CI/CD pipelines and IAM roles
• Run tests that validate isolation and non-interference between agents
