Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Calamba, Philippines, invites a Failure Analysis Engineer - Physical Analysis. You will manage sample prep, perform physical and chemical analysis on FA products, lead new method development, and coordinate transfer plans with product divisions.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or higher, 5+ years in material/ electrical/ physical/ chemical analysis, and hands-on experience with 3D X-ray, SEM/EDX, SAM, FIB, and related instruments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher.
5+ years experience in material analysis, electrical/physical/chemical analysis.
Knowledge of crystal morphology and material characterization methods.
Experience with advanced analysis instruments (3D X-ray, SEM/EDX, SAM, FIB, ICP).
Excellent English communication and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

Manage/ perform sample preparation, physical analysis, chemical analysis activities on product FA (operational and engineering).
Lead gap analysis, new machine evaluation, and new method development.
Interface with product division and manage transfer plan.
