Maven AGI is seeking a Senior People Operations Manager to build and scale the People function during rapid growth. You will own HR across the employee lifecycle, advising leaders and hands-on building essential processes and playbooks.

We are looking for a builder and doer who thrives in an earlier-stage environment and creates structure where little exists, balancing compliance with a strong employee experience.

Qualifications

• You are a true HR/People generalist with experience across multiple lifecycle areas.
• You have 5+ years in HR/People Operations, ideally in high-growth startups.
• You’ve owned or played significant roles in employee relations, performance, promotions, onboarding, and compliance.
• You understand employment law and know when to bring in legal or subject-matter experts.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve core People Operations across onboarding, changes, promotions, performance, leaves and offboarding.
• Develop, document, and scale People policies, processes, and playbooks.
• Own and evolve our employee handbook for practicality and compliance.
• Be a trusted HR resource for employees and managers on policies and day-to-day matters.
• Partner with managers on performance management, feedback, promotions, and terminations.
• Help design company-wide performance review and promotion cycles.
