Job summary

Teradyne's Cebu, Philippines site is seeking an experienced PCB Design Manager to lead a team of layout engineers, ensuring high-quality designs and on-time delivery for advanced electronics projects.

You will supervise and mentor engineers, coordinate with global site leaders, and apply deep PCB knowledge, DFMs, and IPC guidelines to optimize manufacturability, performance, and cost across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in PCB design and layout, with leadership experience.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or site-management role.
• Hands-on experience with Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, KiCAD, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of IPC guidelines and design for manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of PCB layout designers to meet milestones.
• Oversee PCB layout and design processes for quality, manufacturability, and cost.
• Coordinate with global site leaders to manage projects from concept to delivery.
• Provide technical guidance on component placement, routing, and layer management.
• Enforce quality controls and conduct design reviews against standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, hardware teams, and stakeholders to align needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve layout processes and adopt best practices.
