Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Payment Lifecycle Analyst to lead day-to-day transaction screening activities for payments and messaging to support sanctions compliance and AML practices in a 24/7 Manila operation.

You will supervise screening operators, coordinate with compliance and business partners, and drive process improvements while delivering accurate, timely case handling and escalation when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in banking operations or financial services.
• Working knowledge of SWIFT and international payment conventions.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to document decisions clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information to stakeholders.
• Effective interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach with business and compliance partners.
• Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• High attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately under pressure in high-volume environments.
• Flexibility to work shifts (day/night) and weekends as required by business needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Screen payments and SWIFT messages per policy.
• Identify, refer, and escalate suspect transactions.
• Apply judgment when reviewing sanctions and AML cases.
• Develop and implement improvements to procedures and programs.
• Perform quality QA reviews on sampled or completed work.
• Provide periodic reports on volumes, trends, quality observations, and risks.
• Directly supervise screening operators and support development.
• Assign and oversee daily work to ensure coverage.
• Ensure service levels and escalation paths are followed.
• Coordinate with internal partners and compliance stakeholders for case management.
• Lead or support initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.
