Connext Global Solutions is seeking a Senior Financial Clearance Specialist to join our client team in the United States, working from the Philippines. The role centers on processing and verifying patient financial clearance, including insurance validation, pre-certification, prior authorization, pre-registration, and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in patient registration in a hospital or physician office.
• Experience handling insurance verification and authorizations.
• Must have stable employment history.
• Demonstrates strong understanding of insurance plans, benefits, and authorization requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify insurance benefits, medical necessity, routine and complex pre-certifications, prior authorizations, scheduling, and pre-registration.
• Provide clear and compassionate financial counseling to patients regarding benefits coverage, out-of-pocket estimates, and financial policies.
• Generate and review patient cost estimates; perform pre-service collections and secure patient liabilities.
• Conduct onsite POS collections, including copays, deductibles, and coinsurance at the time of service.
• Discuss payment options and resolve patient financial concerns in real time.
