Connext Global Solutions Inc in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Medical Billing Specialist to support U.S.-based healthcare billing and revenue cycle operations. The role focuses on accounts receivable follow-up, denial management, payment reconciliation, appeals, and patient billing support.

You will handle appeals, payer communications, and prior authorization follow-ups, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting U.S. medical billing and/or revenue cycle operations.
• Minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience with Athenahealth system.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, claim follow-ups, outstanding balances, and unresolved billing issues.
• Research and resolve denied, unpaid, and underpaid claims across commercial and government payers.
• Handle appeals, reconsiderations, payer communications, and prior authorization follow-ups.
• Manage patient billing inquiries and collections, explain EOBs, and establish payment arrangements.
• Post and reconcile payments, maintain accurate account documentation, and prepare accounts for collections or write-offs.
• Monitor denial trends and AR metrics, maintain reports, improve revenue cycle processes, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
