Job summary

Shore360, a 100% Australian-owned BP firm based in the Philippines, is seeking a senior paralegal to provide high-level legal and administrative support to an Australian practice. You will work with lawyers, partners and the Practice Manager, handling document prep, case administration, research, correspondence, and matter management, while safeguarding confidentiality.

The role welcomes candidates with paralegal experience across jurisdictions; Australian experience is a plus, and on-site work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
  • 4–6+ years of paralegal or legal support experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting lawyers, partners, or senior legal professionals.
  • Strong understanding of legal documentation and case/matter administration.
  • Excellent document preparation and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level paralegal and administrative support to lawyers and partners.
  • Assist with the preparation, review, formatting, and management of legal documents.
  • Manage and maintain client and matter files.
  • Conduct legal and case-related research as required.
  • Prepare correspondence, letters, forms, summaries, and other legal documentation.
  • Assist with case preparation, including compiling relevant documents.
  • Maintain accurate matter records, calendars, deadlines, and follow-ups.
  • Assist with lodgement and submission of documents to relevant authorities, courts, or other organisations.
  • Coordinate with clients, lawyers, external parties, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor outstanding documents, information, and action items.
  • Assist with client onboarding and matter opening processes.
  • Support lawyers with document review, discovery, and file organisation where required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and case information at all times.
  • Ensure legal files and documentation are organised and maintained according to internal procedures.
  • Assist with general legal practice administration and other tasks that support the smooth running of the firm.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative and document management processes.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Paralegal to provide high-level legal and administrative support to an Australian legal practice.

The role will work closely with the firm's lawyers, partners, and Practice Manager, supporting the preparation and management of legal matters, documentation, research, correspondence, and day-to-day case administration.

The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident handling sensitive legal information. Australian legal experience is highly advantageous but not essential. Candidates with strong paralegal experience in other legal jurisdictions are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level paralegal and administrative support to lawyers and partners

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field

4–6+ years of relevant paralegal or legal support experience

  • Demonstrated experience supporting lawyers, partners, or senior legal professionals
  • Strong understanding of legal documentation and case/matter administration

Excellent document preparation and proofreading skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or missing information

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and priorities

High level of discretion when handling confidential client information

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook

Highly Desirable
  • Previous experience supporting an Australian law firm or legal practice
  • Familiarity with Australian legal terminology, processes, and documentation
  • Experience in areas such as family law, commercial law, litigation, property, migration, or other relevant legal practice areas
  • Experience with legal practice management or document management systems
  • Experience working directly with Australian lawyers, Partners, or Practice Managers

Experience working in an offshore legal support environment

We are looking for a senior-level legal support professional who can work with a high degree of independence. The successful candidate should be able to anticipate what lawyers need, keep matters and deadlines organised, and produce accurate, professional-quality work with minimal supervision.

Australian legal experience is a strong advantage, but strong paralegal experience and the ability to quickly adapt to Australian legal processes will also be considered.

Work Set Up:

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
