Job summary

CareCone Group is seeking an experienced Network Firewall Engineer (Palo Alto) to design, deploy, and optimize firewall solutions in hybrid Pasay or Cebu offices. You will manage PAN- and cloud-integrated security, with hands-on experience in Palo Alto NGFW, Panorama, and VPN technologies.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years of firewall experience, strong routing knowledge (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP), and proficiency with monitoring tools like Splunk and Wireshark, plus ITSM processes and ServiceNow

Qualifications

5–7 years of experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.

Responsibilities

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto NGFW and Panorama.
Manage firewall policies, NAT, IPsec/SSL VPN, WildFire, and Threat Prevention.
Troubleshoot network issues related to BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
Monitor and analyse security events using Splunk, Wireshark, Syslog, Netcool, and SevOne.
Handle firewall changes, incidents, and documentation using ServiceNow.
Perform vulnerability assessment, remediation, and firewall optimization.
Support hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Cisco firewall technologies (ASA/Firepower).
