Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Palo Alto Firewall Engineer to oversee security infrastructure, configure NGFWs, and manage VPNs in enterprise environments. You will monitor policies with Panorama, coordinate with IT teams, and drive vulnerability remediation within an ITSM framework.

The role demands strong routing, switching, and cloud-hybrid integration skills, plus hands-on experience with Wireshark, Splunk, and related monitoring tools. Hybrid work in Manila is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto networks firewalls, routing, switching, and Cisco security technologies.
• Solid experience with Wireshark, Syslog, Splunk, ServiceNow, Netcool, SevOne, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage Palo Alto NGFWs across enterprise environments.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize firewall policies using Panorama.
• Maintain and troubleshoot VPNs, NAT rules, and site-to-site connectivity.
• Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies aligned with business needs.
