Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Applications Developer (HCM) to lead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise Human Capital Management and Financial applications. The role includes complex system development, database integrations, and mentoring junior developers to uphold best practices in delivery.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and QA leads to deliver robust software solutions, while driving standards and architectural consistency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of professional experience implementing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS and Financials modules.
• 6+ years of advanced experience with Oracle PL/SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Workflow and Oracle Reporting Tools (XML Publisher, Reports Builder).
• Experience with data migration, integration, and SDLC practices using Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Git.
• Strong track record in system design, technical documentation, coaching team members, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and maintain enterprise application solutions, custom forms, database procedures, workflows, and alerts.
• Lead data integration, conversion, and migration activities across enterprise database environments.
• Mentor and coach development team members, conducting design reviews and enforcing coding standards.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application and database issues in a timely manner.
• Produce documentation including system specifications and technical designs within Agile frameworks.
