Job summary

Moog Philippines is seeking a Senior Operations Excellence Lead to drive cross-functional CI initiatives across the site, delivering measurable improvements in quality, on-time delivery, inventory, and productivity through Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem solving.

You will mentor Green Belts and Black Belts, lead Kaizen events and Value Stream Mapping, facilitate strategic planning, and partner with operations leaders to institutionalize a culture of continuous improvement and sustained

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years in Continuous Improvement with Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional CI initiatives to improve KPIs (Quality, Inventory, On-Time Delivery).
• Coach Green Belts and Black Belts; mentor CI teams.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, and Lean Six Sigma trainings.

Job Title: Senior Operations Excellence Lead

Work Schedule: Onsite – Baguio City, PH

Job Description

• Drive high impact, cross functional Continuous Improvement initiatives across Moog Philippines delivering measurable impact in operational performance, cost, quality, delivery and productivity.
• Support the deployment of Operational excellence methodologies including 80-20, Lean, Six sigma and structured problem solving to improve business performance.
• Provide mentorship, coaching and guidance to Green Belts, Black Belts, functional leaders and project teams, to strengthen Continuous Improvement capabilities.
• Develop and institutionalize a culture of Continuous Improvement and Process Maturity across Moog Philippines.
• Lead major operations transformation initiatives to support long term operational competitiveness and growth.
• Identify and maintain a list of continuous improvement (CI) opportunities applying the 80-20 principle and facilitate prioritization by working collaboratively with functional leaders and relevant cross-functional teams.
• Lead cross-functional CI initiatives to achieve site KPIs such as Quality, Inventory, On-Time Delivery, Efficiency, Product Profitability, Cost and Expenses.
• Drive the completion of continuous improvement projects by working collaboratively with the operations leaders and relevant cross-functional teams.
• Assess, oversee and facilitate CI trainings and capability-building.
• Provide project mentoring support to CI practitioners (Green Belt, and new Black Belts) to help them achieve their project objectives.
• Facilitate Strategic Planning, CI workshops, Kaizen Events, Value Stream Mapping, and Lean Six Sigma trainings to enable project leaders and CI practitioners to achieve their operational goals.
• Facilitate project tollgate reviews and communication of results.
• Communicate progress through OPEX forums, steering committee meetings and other channels.
• Drive cultural change and transformation across Moog Philippines.
• Deliver significant business impact through CI projects and initiatives.
• Lead innovation, transformation programs and strategic OPEX initiatives.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Experience: At least 7 years of relevant working experience in Continuous Improvement as a LSS Black Belt Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with proven track record of successful continuous improvement initiatives Preferably with a Certification or formal training in Project Management Preferably with experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar manufacturing industries with demonstrated exposure to operational excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement initiatives.
• Skills: Advanced problem-solving skills to drive process improvements, address complex operational challenges, and deliver measurable results Expertise in Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies, including DMAIC, Lean Six Sigma principles particularly value stream mapping, SPC, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement techniques Strong project planning, tracking and execution skills Competence in analyzing bottlenecks, constraints, and flow disruptions across cross-functional processes Strong ability to collect, clean, and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and performance gaps Ability to keep discussions focused, objective, and outcome-driven while managing time and priorities Capability to engage stakeholders at all levels, address resistance, and build commitment to change Ability to mentor project teams through DMAIC process, ensuring proper methodology, documentation, and results. Expertise in Minitab or other statistical software for performing advanced data analysis, process capability studies, and continuous improvement projects Strong interpersonal skills to build trust, foster collaboration, and motivate cross-functional teams Capability to identify opportunities where Continuous Improvement projects can deliver measurable ROI
