Tapi is a high-growth SaaS company revolutionising property maintenance. We are seeking an analytically strong professional to own critical operations reporting and automation.

You’ll manage Chargebee billing, month-end packs, and CRM-driven commissions, build reliable workflows, and oversee onboarding and contractor payroll with Rippling. Five+ years of proven experience, advanced spreadsheet skills, troubleshooting, and fluency with AI/automation tools are required.

Qualifications

• Must be highly proficient with large spreadsheets and debugging complex formulas.
• Experience building reliable data processes from raw exports.
• Proven ability to own a recurring reporting pack with deadlines.
• Familiarity with billing platforms and CRM data for commissions.
• Ability to design and ship automated workflows with error handling.

Responsibilities

• Billing: Manage Chargebee and ensure subscriptions, changes, receivables, and integrations function smoothly.
• Month-end: Prepare management reporting pack and end-of-month customer reporting.
• Commissions: Calculate quarterly sales/customer success commissions from CRM data with traceable workings.
• Automation: Build and maintain workflows using Zapier, Make, or n8n with robust error handling.
• People ops: Support onboarding, offboarding, contractor payroll, and Rippling administration.

The short version

We’re looking for someone who can be handed a 4,000-row export and a broken formula, and get to a number they’d defend in front of the board.

What you’ll own

• Billing. Manage Chargebee and ensure that subscriptions, changes, receivables, and the integrations holding it all together are functioning smoothly.


• Month‑end. The management reporting pack and EOM customer reporting. On time, every month.


• Commissions. Quarterly calculations for sales and customer success, straight from CRM data, with workings anyone can follow.


• Automation. Building and maintaining the workflows that mean nobody chases the same thing twice.


• People ops. Onboarding, offboarding, contractor payroll and Rippling administration.

You’ll report to our Head of Operations and work across Product, Sales, Customer Success and Finance.

We’re being upfront, because the wrong fit wastes your time as much as ours.

Spreadsheets, genuinely advanced. Not "comfortable with Excel." You can build a model from a raw export — and more importantly, debug one you didn’t build. Trace a wrong total back through the chain, find the range that didn’t extend or the number quietly stored as text, fix it, and explain it out loud.

Troubleshooting — you resolve, you don’t just report. When a sync breaks, you form a hypothesis and chase it down. "I’ve raised a ticket and I’m waiting" isn’t the job.

Automation you’ve actually shipped. Zapier, Make or n8n, with error handling — not just the happy path. Apps Script when the no-code route won’t reach.

AI fluency, layered on real skill. We use Claude every day and so will you. We want someone who spots when AI has handed them a confident wrong answer, because they understand the work underneath it.

Five-plus years, with receipts. You’ve personally owned a recurring reporting pack on a deadline — not contributed data to someone else’s.

Subscription billing platforms, SQL, a BI tool, or Rippling experience will all put you ahead. None of them replace the five things above.
