Job summary

Lennor Group is recruiting a Non-life Insurance Underwriter to assess and underwrite risks with a strong focus on Property Insurance. You will prepare submissions, negotiate terms with insurers, and support renewal strategies while working closely with clients and internal teams.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in non-life underwriting and a solid understanding of Property and Engineering insurance, with onsite work in Makati City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in non-life insurance underwriting, broking, or placement.
• Strong experience in Property and Engineering insurance preferred.
• Experience with corporate, complex, high-value or non-standard risks.

Responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite non-life risks (Property, Engineering, Casualty, Marine, Motor, Aviation).
• Prepare underwriting submissions and market to insurers.
• Negotiate terms, coverage, and pricing beyond premium.
• Review risk surveys and provide risk improvement guidance.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Sales, Claims, and Compliance.
