Job summary

Globe Telecom is seeking an experienced NodeJS Senior/Lead Software Development Engineer to shape the technical future of our platform. You will balance hands-on development with high-level architectural decisions and mentorship in a hybrid setting, working across cloud-native services.

You will lead design and delivery of scalable microservices, collaborate with product teams on roadmaps, and set gold standards for observability, security, and performance.

Qualifications

6+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering large-scale systems.
Expert-level NodeJS with ability to design scalable architectures.
Experience with AWS or Google Cloud and cost-performance trade-offs.
Strong background in microservices and distributed systems.
Experience with observability tools and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

Architect & scale high-performance distributed cloud applications.
Lead the team with technical decisions and mentorship.
Set standards for code quality, security, and performance.
Oversee CI/CD and cloud infrastructure for resilience and cost-optimization.
Drive containerization strategy with Docker and Kubernetes, globally.
Coach junior engineers and foster continuous learning.
