Globe Telecom, Inc. is seeking a Backend Software Engineer in the Philippines to design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend services, APIs, and integrations. You will work with Node.js, NestJS, Python, Go, Java, and databases while collaborating across product, QA, and platform teams.

The role emphasizes cloud-native development on AWS/GCP, AI-assisted tooling, and scalable architectures, with an opportunity to contribute to Globe Cloud, AI products, and innovative initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• Experience developing backend applications, APIs, and system integrations.
• Experience with one backend language or framework (Node.js/NestJS, Python, Go, Java).
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases; knowledge of Redis or similar data stores is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services, APIs, integrations, and components.
• Build RESTful APIs and service-to-service integrations.
• Develop backend applications using Node.js, NestJS, Python, Go, Java, or similar; work with relational/non-relational databases.
• Integrate with internal systems and third-party APIs; enable asynchronous workflows and messaging.
• Collaborate with frontend teams on API contracts and end-to-end solutions.
• Follow CI/CD and cloud deployment practices across AWS/GCP environments.
