Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering delivering large‑scale, production‑grade systems.
• Expert‑level TypeScript with ability to pick the right tool for the architectural challenge.
• Deep AWS or Google Cloud experience and understanding of cost‑performance trade‑offs.
• Strong system design experience with microservices and distributed data.
• You run it: observability (Prometheus/Grafana) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Architect & Scale: Lead the design and evolution of high‑performance, distributed cloud applications that define our core services.

• Engineering Excellence: Set the gold standard for code quality, security, and performance through rigorous peer reviews and by championing best practices across the elite squad.

• Orchestration Mastery: Drive our containerization strategy using Docker and Kubernetes, moving beyond "using" tools to "optimizing" them for global scale.

• Track Record: 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, specializing in the delivery of large‑scale, production‑grade systems. Proven leadership as a Senior Engineer, successfully guiding teams of developers to ship high‑impact software.
• Polyglot Proficiency: Must have expert‑level mastery in TypeScript, with the ability to choose the right tool for the specific architectural challenge. Nice to have: Python.
• Cloud Authority: Deep, "under‑the‑hood" experience with AWS or Google Cloud. You don’t just use cloud services; you understand their limitations and cost‑performance trade‑offs.
• System Design Expert: You’ve successfully navigated the complexities of microservices, distributed systems, and data consistency at scale.
• Operational Ownership: You have a "you build it, you run it" mentality, with deep experience in observability (Prometheus/Grafana) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
