Job summary

Globe Telecom seeks a NodeJS Senior/Lead Software Development Engineer to shape the technical future of our platform. You will balance hands-on development with high-level architectural decisions and mentorship.

You will lead design of scalable cloud applications, own CI/CD and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, and collaborate with product leaders to translate requirements into roadmaps. This hybrid role offers opportunities to influence global scale and contribute to Globe's tech

Qualifications

6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including senior/lead roles.
Expert-level NodeJS proficiency; ability to drive architectural decisions.
Deep cloud experience with AWS or Google Cloud; cost-performance awareness.
Strong system design skills for microservices/distributed systems.
Experience with observability, IaC, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

Architect & Scale: Lead the design of high-performance, distributed cloud applications.
Technical Leadership: Translate business requirements into scalable technical roadmaps.
Engineering Excellence: Enforce code quality, security, and performance via peer reviews.
Infrastructure Strategy: Oversee CI/CD and cloud infrastructure for automation and resilience.
Orchestration Mastery: Drive Docker/Kubernetes strategy for global scale.
Mentorship: Coach junior and mid-level engineers.
