Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Network Engineer to implement, troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on network equipment including Cisco ISR/ASR routers, Catalyst switches and FortiGate firewalls across nationwide markets. The role requires collaboration with NSS team members and other IT staff to maintain high availability and resolve day-to-day issues.

Ideal candidates will possess proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), WAN technologies, VPN tunneling, VLANs, SNMP, NTP,

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining local and remote networks.
• Advanced problem solving capabilities.
• Familiar with Cisco IOS, IOS-XR and NX-OS.
• FortiGate NGFW experience is a plus.
• VPN technologies such as DMVPN and IPsec.
